Archaic Humans was produced by Jason Olaine (Winton
Marsalis, etc.) and features very special guests soulful
South African vocalist Melanie Scholtz, DC go-go/pro-
gressive hip hop artist Christylez Bacon and Brazilan
percussion master Luca Texeira!

Native American Renaisance Man
ROBERT MIRABAL
to co-star in indie film ROAD TO EVERYWHERE
We could not be more excited to announce that our own Robert Mirabal has
been cast in the upcoming Indie film Road To Everywhere, co-starring
opposite Whip Hubley. Principal filming begins January 29 in Los Angeles and
PAge, AZ. Look for release date later this year.
The film is a production of DRIVEN TWO Films LLC and is written and directed
by Michael Paradies Shoob, produced by Joseph Mealey.
Robert is repped for acting by Lesa Kirk at Open Entertainment and managed
by Tom Frouge at Avokado Artists.
Here’s the basic story:
Down on his luck Los Angeles cab driver Jason Shuyler ("J"), played by Whip Hubley , is offered the trip of a lifetime by Jake, a local Casino dealer and gambler, played by Robert Mirabal. Jake wants Pelton to drive him back to the Navajo Reservation to the home he abandoned 30 years ago. Jake's dream is to see his grandson
compete in a Native American rodeo.

Robert is also currently scoring the soundtrack for the 4-part HULU series tentatively titled Ring of Fire: The Life of Annie Mae Aquash.

Welcome Punjabi Music Master
SONNY SINGH
to the Avokado Artists Sync Licensing Roster!
Sonny Singh has brought his fiery trumpet playing and vocals to audiences
around the world for the last decade as an original member of the Brooklyn
Bhangra outfit Red Baraat. Sonny’s new solo project is simultaneously
spiritual and rebellious, his music is a reminder that hope, love, and devotion
are crucial to our struggles and our collective survival.
Sonny’s debut solo album, produced by Wil-Dog Abers of Ozomatli, is entitled
Chardi Kala, the Sikh concept of revolutionary eternal optimism. Gothamist
calls it “utterly irresistible while JazzTimes entuses that Sonny’s music is “vibrant, ebullient, and energized...a prayer for our ailing world.” You can also call it boundary-defying.
